Ceramic Coating Built for RVs

RVs spend long stretches outside, and keeping a 30- or 40-foot rig clean is hard work. A ceramic coating bonds to the fibreglass or paint and cures into a hard, slick layer that resists UV and makes black streaks, bugs and road grime much easier to wash off. It is the most effective way to keep a large RV looking new without waxing it every few weeks.

As with any coating, the result depends on the surface underneath. We wash and decontaminate the RV, polish out oxidation and haze, wipe the surface clean of polishing oils, and then apply the coating section by section, working around decals and seals.

We can coat sidewalls, front and rear caps, painted surfaces, and on request windows and wheels. How long a coating lasts depends on the product, storage and washing, and we go over maintenance when we quote.

We provide mobile RV ceramic coating across Toronto & the GTA, Halton, Hamilton & Niagara, Lake Simcoe, Georgian Bay, Muskoka, Kawarthas & Haliburton, North Bay & Sudbury, including Oakville, Toronto, Barrie, Collingwood, Gravenhurst and Peterborough. Call 416-729-7935 for a free quote.

RV Ceramic Coating questions

RV Ceramic Coating FAQs

Common questions about rv ceramic coating.

Is ceramic coating worth it on an RV?+
For most owners, yes. RVs are large and spend a lot of time outside, so a coating saves a lot of washing and waxing, helps prevent oxidation, and makes black streaks much easier to remove.
Does the RV need to be polished first?+
Usually. A coating seals in whatever is underneath it, so oxidation and haze should be corrected first. Your quote covers both.
Can a ceramic coating go over decals?+
Coatings can be applied to vinyl graphics in good condition. Decals that are already cracked or peeling are noted beforehand.
How do I wash a ceramic-coated RV?+
With a pH-neutral soap and soft brushes or mitts, and without harsh degreasers. We give you written aftercare instructions when the job is done.
Will it stop black streaks?+
Streaks still form from roof runoff, but they don't bond to a coated surface the way they do to bare fibreglass, so they usually come off with a normal wash.
